Great camp site. Great access to the river. The only complaint I would have is the sites are really close. Fortunately, it was empty when I was there due to the "gas shortage" and it didn't bother us. I will definitely be back and would definitely recommend it.

Pleasant camp ground with both RV (electrical and water hook-up) and primitive camping sites. Friendly staff and owners, who are willing to help. I have camped in both the RV and primitive areas, and have enjoyed it for over 15 years. Fishing on the Colorado River (Texas version) has produced catfish, verious types of bass and other game fish. On my most recent trip, the fishing was rained out and the river was running fairly high. I still enjoyed the three days we spent there walking the area an watching the river. The staff kept us informed about road conditions and flooding of low water crossings in the area.

So glad the State park was full and we kept looking past another nearby campground. Barefoot's owner was very kind and relatable. The restrooms/showers were extremely clean, especially for community styled. The campgrounds are perfectly located along the river but still allowing privacy and peacefulness. The camp host is amazing as well! Let us borrow a grate for grilling over our fire. Had a gigantic ant den near our site, so the host quickly handled it. Thanks for giving my family the great weekend we were looking for and more!!

Real nice place. Owners are Awesome. Great river access with scenic surroundings, deep water for swimming/fishing and other access with shallow running water. You just have to see it to believe it. Prices are better than any of the other nearby places. If you can't decide between here or Sulphur Springs, trust me, this place has them beat!

One of the best Cabo grounds I've been to. The owners are super nice. Lots of places to camp with and without shelters. There are RV hookups with water and electricity. A dump station. Clean restrooms and got showers. Plenty of river front access.
